Those of you who have been wishing for a 1/48th scale Republic F-84F Thunderstreak as a companion to the Revell/Monogram F-84G Thunderjet are about to have their wish granted. 

Stevens International has been chosen the USA importer for a newly tooled line of injection molded plastic model aircraft kits from Hong Kong, "Kinetic Models".   The first kits to be released include a 1/48 F84F Thunderstreak as well as a 1/32  F86F-30 Sabre Jet.

Kits will include engraved panel lines, rivet detail, armaments and weights.   Markings for the F84 are for ANG-616 and Missouri Air Guard as well as USAF, F-86 markings are to be announced later.   As of this time suggested pricing is not yet set, details will be announced later.

Both kits are due for USA delivery in July, 2007, with additional kit announcements coming later.
